Inhospitable Karkonosze – Ursus Rally Team
Las weekend the rally team Ursus came to Jelenia Góra for one of the biggest classic rallies in Poland - the Karkonoski Rally.
The championships welcomed our team with beautiful landscapes and good weather. Special stages located in the mountains from the very beginning gave our team a lot of fun.
Everything was going smooth, the whole team did a hard work at the start, the car was perfectly prepared and the team, Paweł and Darek, both mentally and physically were in good shape.
On the second day the Ursus Rally Team went into combat. In the first stage the team took the fourth position in the general classification.

On the second day the Ursus Rally Team went into combat. In the first stage the team took the fourth position in the general classification.
In the second stage the team made necessary corrections hoping to increase the speed. Unluckily after 2 km at an apparently easy bend, fully visible, the car got off the road. What is worse, this not expected escapade definitely excluded our team from the further competition. But this is a rally and the risk of getting off the road is typical for this sport. It is a pity, especially because it was not an evident mistake of the team. The organizer of the rally was not foresight enough and put in danger many teams, putting tires at the line of ride.
It is a subject for a long discussion. The moods after the rally are poor, but soon there will be another rally, motivation can be only higher and as usually we will fully get ready for a competition in the Polish Cup Rally. We would like to thank all our fans who were waiting for our ride - what we are really glad of!
