Meeting of the Prime Ministers of Poland and Ethiopia

- We are a very good potential partner in many projects, among which the ones concerning energy agriculture sector – said the Prime Minister Donald Tusk after his meeting with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia Hailemariam Dessalegnem in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Ethiopia becomes an important economic partner of Poland.  This year contracts of the total amount of 100 mln USD have been concluded. The company URSUS S.A. (Pol-Mot Holding) concluded the contract for sale of 3.000 tractors, amounting to 90 mln USD.

The Prime Minister of Ethiopia is in Warsaw on the occasion of the climate summit COP19. Currently Ethiopia is holding the presidency in the African Union.

The meeting with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia forms part of the programme executed by the Polish government „Go Africa” supporting expansion of Polish companies in Africa and economic cooperation. On 26-27 November 2013 in Łódź will be held the Congress of Polish - African business cooperation.
