Polish Trio - Ursus with WAT and FON SKB

The Management Board of URSUS S.A. concluded a cooperation agreement with the Military University of Technology (WAT) and the Driving Axles Plant – SKB sp. z o.o. S.K.A. with the seat in Radomsko, extending the cooperation pursued till now by URSUS S.A. with WAT. The common works of the parties shall significantly accelerate the process of construction and as a result – introduction in series production of transmissions for medium power range tractors, that will be used in tractors produces by the company URSUS S.A.

The Management Board of URSUS S.A. concluded a cooperation agreement with the Military University of Technology (WAT) and the Driving Axles Plant – SKB sp. z o.o. S.K.A. with the seat in Radomsko, extending the cooperation pursued till now by URSUS S.A. with WAT. The common works of the parties shall significantly accelerate the process of construction and as a result – introduction in series production of transmissions for medium power range tractors, that will be used in tractors produces by the company URSUS S.A.

The main purpose of the concluded agreement is extension of the previous cooperation in the scope of development and development and transfer of technology in programs of modern agricultural equipment and common consultancy, expert advice, participation of the employees of WAT, URSUS S.A. and the Driving Axles Plant – SKB in works related to development of new solutions for agricultural equipment.

Products manufactured as a result of such cooperation will be a combination of the Polish engineering concept based on know-how from one of the best Polish universities and business based on the Polish capital. Undoubtedly, such products will be unique on the European and world market transmissions designed and manufactured in Poland.

Thanks to the concluded agreement and the cooperation of the parties resulting from it, the Driving Axles Plant – SKB and URSUS S.A. will be able to introduce commonly developed another modern solutions in production of agricultural equipment, extend their offer with upgraded products and increase use of reasearch and development works in their activities. 

It will be possible due to the fact that the Driving Axles Plant – SKB has one of the most modern iron casting plant in Poland, together with processing centers, what helps the parties to carry out quickly and efficiently works within common research and development projects, mainly concerning transmission for agricultural tractors of medium power range.
