URSUS at Agritech 2017 - the largest agricultural fair in Zambia

 

From April 27th to 29th in Chisamba URSUS presented to a wide audience for the first time in Zambia a range of tractors and agricultural machinery that met with high interest from many visitors from all over the country.

 

We presented selected products from our portfolio. The list included C-3110 tractors that are equipped with TUR-6 front loader, Mikrusa and C-350 ROPS version, as well as agricultural machinery - trailer, manure spreader, rake and baling press. The gigantic contract for delivery of tractors and machines to Zambia attracted tens of thousands visitors wanting to make their URSUS purchase as soon as possible.

 

Today our stand was visited by a very special guest - the President of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Edgar Chagwa Lungu, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture - Ms Doria Siliya and Minister of Industry - Ms Margaret Mwanakatwe. President Lungu proudly emphasized that the presence of URSUS on Zambian market will play a significant role in the development and modernization of agriculture, and the establishment of URSUS tractors and machinery assembly facility in Zambia will contribute to the economical development as well as an increase of the level of mechanization of agriculture.

 

Also today URSUS has donated to Polish Mission of the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate more than one and a half tons of modified milk as well as clothes to the youngest pupils of the orphanage Kasisi Mission.
