From Poland to Rwanda. URSUS joins the help effort.
On 19 July 2018, in Laski near Warsaw, the specially prepared field car for the Franciscan Sisters was officially handed over. This is a joint project of URSUS, Pietrucha International, BGK, Prologus and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The car was purchased and delivered to the URSUS factory in Lublin and adapted to the conditions prevailing in Rwanda, Africa.
The previous car used by the Sisters was destroyed in an accident when carrying disabled children. That is why URSUS made sure that the new car is safe and resistant. In addition to specially designed seating for blind children, the car has been fitted with a roof rack and a front metal bumper. We also made modifications related to the strengthening of the chassis and suspension. We believe that the car will adequately serve disabled children in Rwanda.
